I understand that, in accordance with Florida Statute 443.I3I(3)(a)(2), if hired, I will be placed on a 60 or 90 day probationary period. I further understand that if I am terminated for unsatisfactory work performance within the 60 or 90 day period, J.C. Newman Cigar Company may seek to contest any unemployment benefit I might attempt to obtain as a result of my termination.

I understand that, in accordance with section 448.095, Florida Statutes, if hired, JC Newman Cigar Company is required to verify each new employee's employment eligibility within three business days after the first day that the new employee begins working for pay via the United States government E-Verify system. I further understand that as part of the hiring process I am required to complete Form I-9 and provided required original documentation as to my employment eligibility. I further understand that if notification is received from the Social Security Administration (SSA) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) JC Newman Cigar will advise and provide you with written instructions from SSA or DHS.
